Part 107 is the federal rule used for most work and other non-recreational flights with small drones. This course starts at zero and prepares a first-time applicant for the FAA Unmanned Aircraft General - Small knowledge test, called the UAG, and for safe mission planning after the test.

- Explain the first-time certificate path and the remote pilot in command role.
- Apply operating limits, registration, reporting, and waiver rules to real missions.
- Read airspace, sectional-chart, airport, authorization, NOTAM, and flight-restriction cues.
- Read basic weather reports and predict weather effects on a small drone.
- Evaluate loading, performance, batteries, maintenance, preflight, and emergency choices.
- Plan safer flights at night, near people or vehicles, and under Remote ID rules.
